Christmas Ornament SVG Files for Cricut

A Christmas ornament SVG is one of the fastest Cricut projects of the season: a clear acrylic disc, a wood slice or a ceramic ball plus a little vinyl makes a gift in minutes. This guide shows real ornament-friendly designs from the WOW SVG shop, including four free Christmas ornament SVG files, plus sizes and steps for ornaments and gift tags.

Key takeaways

  • Pick simple, bold designs with little fine text. They read best at ornament size (2.5 to 3.5 inches).
  • Use permanent adhesive vinyl on acrylic, glass and ceramic ornaments, and iron-on or paint on wood slices.
  • Four designs below are free downloads. The others cost $2.50 and include SVG, PNG, EPS and DXF formats.
  • Commercial use of finished products is included with every design, so you can sell your ornaments at craft fairs.

How to Make a Vinyl Christmas Ornament

  1. Measure the flat area of your ornament and size the design about half an inch smaller in Cricut Design Space.
  2. Cut from permanent adhesive vinyl (no mirroring needed) and weed the design.
  3. Clean the ornament with rubbing alcohol so the vinyl sticks.
  4. Use transfer tape to place the design, rub it down and peel the tape slowly.
  5. For round ornaments, cut small slits around the edge of the vinyl so it hugs the curve.

For sublimation ornaments, print the PNG version on sublimation paper and press it on a sublimation-ready blank. Looking for more ideas? See our free Christmas SVG files guide or browse every Christmas SVG design.

Can I sell the ornaments I make?

Yes. Commercial use of finished products is included with every design. You can’t resell or share the digital files themselves.

How do I get the files after buying?

You get a download link right after checkout, and free files download the same way from your account.
