Free PNG to SVG Converter (and SVG to PNG)

Turn a PNG or JPG into an SVG cut file for Cricut or Silhouette, or turn an SVG into a PNG for printing and sublimation. It’s free, there’s nothing to install, and your image never leaves your device: the conversion runs in your browser.

Your image

SVG result

Works best with logos, text, silhouettes and line art on a plain background. Photos and soft gradients don’t turn into clean cut lines with any tracer. Large images are scaled to 1,000 px for speed.

How to convert a PNG to SVG

1. Choose your image. 2. Keep “Single color” for a vinyl or iron-on cut file, or pick “Multi-color” to get one layer per color. 3. Move the threshold slider until the preview looks clean, then click Convert to SVG and download the file. You can upload it straight into Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition or higher for SVG).

Questions

Is this converter free?

Yes, there is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your files stay on your device.

Why does my SVG have jagged edges or tiny specks?

The tracer follows the pixels it gets. Start from the largest, sharpest version of your image, remove the background first, and try “Smooth” detail or a different threshold.
